SUMMARY:ETP LT y NFTPS Food For Life: Evento de estrategias conjuntas Europeas y Nacionales
DESCRIPTION:Dear ETP LT and NFTPs members\, \nThe European Technology Platform (ETP) ‘Food for Life’ and the National Food Technology Platforms (NFTPs) have a common interest in the Research and Innovation (R&I) programmes set at European and national level and the opportunities therein for the agri-food sector. The ETP ‘Food for Life’ published an update of its Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA) in 2016 and a detailed Implementation Action Plan in 2018 (available here). The NFTPs have developed national SRIAs and jointly with the ETP a publication on ‘Implementation Actions for the SMEs of the food and drink sector’ in 2017 (available here). \nConsidering our common interest in stepping up the R&I performance of the European agri-food sector\, we will host a virtual workshop on 16 December to give you an overview of the activities of the ETP ‘Food for Life’ and the NFTPs and reflect together on the questions below: \n1. Could we devise a joint strategy towards Horizon Europe and other European R&I initiatives? \n2. Could we devise a joint statement to the European Commission highlighting the role of the industry R&I platforms and the relevance of R&I in food processing? \nPlease find attached the agenda for this virtual event.
